Gadebridge Splash Pad is an interactive, super soaking play area designed for children, featuring a variety of jets with different heights, patterns, and pressures, including a bubbling Gyserino and Water Weaves for exciting water play. The central 6 stepper jets create an engaging game where children control the water flow by activating each nozzle. Water fences add an element of adventure with walls to dart through.
The design also includes a versatile amphitheatre zone for events, such as theatre performances or park cinema, and the space can be transformed into a skate park during winter. The jets are sealed off with a winterisation plate, and skate equipment like grind rails and boxes are added to the surface, which is designed with varied gradients and contours.
Private events, such as splashpad parties or fountain shows with LED lighting, can be booked for additional revenue. The design thoughtfully integrates the surrounding tranquil environment and local history, using free-form shapes and warm LED lighting. The landscape, lighting, and patterned jets can be programmed for evening fountain displays, creating a magical atmosphere.
